A
loft conversion was the perfect solution to maximise space for a growing family, whilst maintaining
the proportions of their beautiful period home in Blackheath.
A cool attic hide-away has been created with two spacious double bedrooms for the children to enjoy.
Wide dormer windows fill the rooms with natural light, whilst the fresh palette of whites and duck
egg blues, creates a tranquil oasis – perfect for getting homework done! There is plenty of space for
all the paraphernalia of children’s lives too, with bespoke wardrobes and shelving built to fit the sloping ceilings.
The two rooms are cleverly separated by a stylish but practical shower room, with each having jack
and jill access. Pale wood effect tiles add texture and warmth, whilst the pale aquamarine glass
shower panel and feature tiles above the dark wood vanity unit echo the muted tones of the bedrooms. A full-height obscure glass panel provides total privacy whilst still letting in plenty of light.
Through clever design we have created a space tailored to grow with the needs of these young
people.
